1. A Polish maturity certificate (Matura) or another document equivalent to a Polish maturity certificate (e.g. a high school diploma, a General Certificate of Education - Advanced Level, International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate etc.). We require a good higher level school certificate that would qualify the candidate to study at university level.
Please note that conditional acceptance can be granted to those candidates who have not yet obtained the above mentioned diploma or certificate, but will obtain it before 1 October of the year they are applying to the programme. In this case we require confirmation from the candidate's school and a transcript of his or her records.
2. English language proficiency:
Candidates whose first language is not English are required to prove their English language proficiency with a recognised certificate documenting their command of the English language on the level of at least B2 or higher (please visit http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/cefr/ for more details on B2 level). A list of certificates and documents recognized by the Jagiellonian University is available here.
This requirement does not apply to English native speakers as well as graduates of secondary schools or study programmes whose language of instruction is English.
