On the 2nd June 2017, in Daegu, Rector's Proxy for International Relations, prof. dr hab. Adam W. Jelonek and Vice-Rector for International Relations of Keimyung University, prof. Joong-Hee Lee, signed an Academic Agreement between the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and Keimyung University in Daegu

On the 2nd June 2017, in Daegu, Rector's Proxy for International Relations, prof. dr hab. Adam W. Jelonek and Vice-Rector for International Relations of Keimyung University, prof. Joong-Hee Lee, signed an Academic Agreement between the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and Keimyung University in Daegu. The ceremony was also graced by His Magnificence, Rector of Keimyung University, prof. Ilhi Synn, while the Jagiellonian University was represented by Rector's Proxy for General Affairs at the Medical College, prof. dr hab. med. Piotr Richter and Deputy Head of the Institute of the Middle and Far East for General Affairs and the Head of the Department of Korea, dr hab. Renata Czekalska. 

During the working part of the meeting the topics of possible academic cooperation, joint research projects and teaching programmes were discussed. The issues of student and staff exchange were brought up as well.
